Step 1: Add a couple of users.

We'll set up a simple internal-only system for our friend Bob and his business partner Andy. Here we add the two users.

Step 2: Leave the POP collection empty.

We don't want to collect external mail, so we leave the POP page empty.

Step 3: Set up email addresses for the two users.

This is a very important bit; You can't send internal email if Office Mail doesn't know who it is to go to; The good news is that because this system is internal, and not exposed to the outside world, you can make up any email addresses that you choose. In this case we are going to use the widgets.com domain name to set up our email addresses for Bob and Andy.

Step 4: Set up the SMTP page.

As with the POP collection, there is no external SMTP settings, so leave them blank and choose the 4th option for external mail.

Step 5: We don't have any connection settings.

There is no need to connect to the outside world as this is an internal system..

Step 6: Bob's Outlook account.

We already know how to set up the Outlook account - but the important thing here is that Bob's email address is exactly the same in Outlook as it is in Office Mail - then when Andy replies to Bob's emails it will get back to Bob.

Step 7: Bob sends Andy an email!

All this work has made Bob thirsty and he invites Andy out for a beer.

Step 8: Andy now has a message.

Bob performs a Send/Recv in Outlook and the message is delivered to Office Mail where it waits to be picked up by Andy - if he isn't already in the pub!
