Step 1: Setup Office Mail. You
may want to change the local ports in Office Mail. The most common reason
for this is if you have an anti-virus program running, such as Norton,
which will be checking your email on the default ports (25 for SMTP
and 110 for POP) and conflicting with Office Mail. |

Step 2: Change the ports. We
are going to change the ports by adding 5000 to each value, changing
them to 5110 for POP and 5025 for SMTP. |

Step 3: Change the Outlook account. You must remember to also change the settings in your email client. Edit each account which sends to and receives from Office Mail. The port settings are usually in the Advanced tab as we can see from out Outlook Express example. |
