Office Mail Addins - Log file writer
The log file writer Addin writes details of an email to a log file. It is particularly
useful when combined with the delete Addin, to keep a record of emails that
have been deleted. The time, from, to and subject fields are written to a log
file of your choice.
The example below shows an Addin rule which will delete (permanently) any spam
that includes the words viagra, sex, ____ or [Spam] and write the actions to
a log file. Note that the Permanent param in the Delete Addin means that the
emails will be deleted and cannot be retrieved.
